Principal SQL Engineer

As a Principal SQL Engineer, you’ll lead the charge in modernizing our technology stack, fostering a data-driven culture, and advancing our adoption of AI-driven solutions. Your role will involve developing and optimizing backend systems using MySQL and Python, as well as integrating AI and automation to streamline data workflows and generate deeper insights. You’ll collaborate closely with our web development teams to ensure seamless integration, and implement data engineering and AI tooling to drive smarter, faster decision-making. You will maintain and optimize existing ETL processes, ensuring data accuracy and reliability. You'll also develop new reports using SQL queries and Python scripts to extract and present meaningful insights from various data sources. The role invovles designing and implementing new products, including interactive Dashboards and Reports using AWS QuickSight to facilitate data visualization and analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver software solutions around complex business needs, and write clear and concise documentation for code and processes.
