As a database architect you will work alongside the larger KinaTrax product development team with a global focus on the continued development of tools aimed at a consistent, high quality, end-to-end data solution for both internal and client facing purposes. You will be tasked with developing data architecture processes to be used for large scale biomechanics/motion capture datasets across a variety of sports platforms.

Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities. You'll undertake data collection and implement business product solutions while building, developing and maintaining data models. You will communicate findings clearly to clients and create dashboards to track KPI in data visualization software.
Analyze and translate business requirements into efficient database designs. Create database models using tools like ERD diagrams. Utilize common database design patterns and data integration techniques. Implement indexing techniques and data security best practices. Work closely with stakeholders, developers, and architects to ensure the database design meets the project requirements.
Define and execute the cloud database strategy. Develop database automation and design complex replication networks interfacing with data pipelines to move data between disparate applications to support our Data Engineering and Data Science teams. The candidate must be based in Mexico and comfortable working remotely.
