Research Analyst II

The Research Analyst II will join the Policy and Ratings team and work with other research analysts, data scientists, project managers, policy analysts, engineers, and other experts. Responsibilities include conducting qualitative and quantitative research and synthesizing findings for internal and external audiences, digesting complex technical reports and methodology; critically assessing data sources, and deriving inputs for energy policy impacts analysis. The applicant should demonstrate proficiency in financial or economic analysis, such as: estimating and forecasting capital costs and operational costs, cost-benefit analysis, cost-effectiveness tests, avoided energy supply costs, employment impacts, and fiscal impacts.
