New Global Indirect Tax Manager

About the Role:

• The Global Tax Team is seeking a hands-on indirect tax professional to help build and scale Reddit's global indirect tax function.
• You will own critical elements of US and international indirect tax operations, including US S&U tax and VAT/GST.
• Partner closely with the business to translate complex tax requirements into practical decisions and scalable processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage key elements of Reddit's global indirect tax function across B2B and B2C revenue streams.
• Oversee indirect tax registrations, return compliance, payments, and exemption documentation.
• Own and improve indirect tax processes and systems, including product mapping and system integrations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Tax, Accounting, or a related field and 6+ years of indirect tax experience.
• Technical and operational experience with both US and international indirect taxes.
• Strong project-management skills and experience supporting system changes or cross-functional initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Vertex experience is highly preferred, particularly with rule or product mapping and transaction testing.
• Experience with indirect tax issues affecting technology, digital media, or SaaS businesses.
• Experience with automation or data tools such as Alteryx or SQL.
