Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer at Veterans United Home Loans, you’ll play a key role in building and maintaining the software that makes life better for our coworkers and the Veterans we serve. Your work will focus on creating front-end and back-end solutions that support our mission—helping Veterans and service members achieve the dream of homeownership while driving business goals in the mortgage and real estate space. You’ll also help drive the use of AI and automation to boost efficiency and enhance user experience. You will be building and delivering functional, reliable software using core technologies like .NET, C#, Angular, and TypeScript, all within an Agile development environment. Applying Domain-Driven Design, writing Clean Code, and embracing object-oriented programming to create solutions that work seamlessly. Collaborating with your team through planning sessions, retrospectives, and open communication. Working closely with Architects and Product Owners to turn requirements into smart, actionable business logic. Helping to shape and adopt Software Engineering standards, focusing on key areas like security, reliability, and stability.
