About the Role:
- We are looking for an Infrastructure/Software Engineer for the Compute team at VTEX, which owns the platform's shared compute infrastructure including EKS clusters, networking, and traffic balancing.
- You will work on critical engineering challenges such as migrating from legacy Beanstalk to EKS while maintaining reliability and zero downtime for dozens of teams.
About the Team:
- The Compute team is part of VTEX's Core Platform, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance of compute infrastructure for thousands of stores.
- The team is focused on consolidating next-generation compute infrastructure, reducing technical debt, and raising self-service standards.
What You Will Do:
- Migrate workloads from legacy Beanstalk to EKS, managing networking, IAM, and functional parity.
- Design and maintain compute and networking components used by multiple teams.
- Operate critical production systems, including participating in on-call rotations, and evolve GitOps and infrastructure as code.
