Front-End Engineer

We are seeking our first Front-End Web Engineer to join the Door to Door team. This pivotal role will directly contribute to one of BlaBlaCar's key strategic initiatives.The ideal candidate will possess the ability to rapidly iterate while also considering future system scalability. You will contribute to various external scopes, including enhancing both passenger and driver experiences, while maintaining strong ownership of our core domain as a standalone supply. As a Frontend Web Engineer, you will be part of the BlaBlaCar’s Front-End Web Engineering Chapter, its community and contribute to the web applications platform skelethon. You will work closely with the product manager, product designer and other engineers to ensure that the product meets business needs and user requirements ensuring it's developed according to best practices and BlaBlaCar architecture principles. You will also participate in design and code reviews interacting with people with different roles and backgrounds and sharing your technical expertise. Remote work is possible within the France metropolitan area, with access to BlaBlaCar co-working spaces.
