What you'll do:
- Design technical strategy for search including full-text search, vector databases, LLMs, and NLP.
- Improve search latency and relevance in collaboration with product and ML teams.
- Research emerging technologies to improve index quality and retrieval performance.
What we’re looking for:
- 7+ years backend development, 3+ in search or information retrieval.
- Expertise in indexing, ranking, query parsing, tokenization, vector search.
- Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch and search evaluation frameworks.
