Data Architect - Managed Services

Role Overview:

• This Data Architect position is a member of 3Cloud’s Managed Services team.
• Responsible for ongoing development, support, escalations, and proactive maintenance for client Azure Data Platform solutions.
• Critical part of the core team essential to the success of the Managed Services division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead support of client’s Azure Data platform and Power BI environment, including response to escalations and incident resolution.
• Consult, develop, and advise on solutions in Microsoft Azure with tools such as Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, Azure ML, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Power BI.
• Proactively mentor junior team members and actively give feedback on their work and performance.

Architecture & Solution Design:

• Ability to design large-scale Databricks Lakehouse architectures for healthcare environments.
• Deep understanding of Delta Lake patterns, medallion architecture, optimization, and governance.
• Experience evaluating and improving existing data platforms, codebases, and pipelines.

Technical Requirements:

• Advanced SQL/Spark SQL performance expertise and experience handling large codebases.
• Strong familiarity with multi-source healthcare environments and HIPAA-compliant requirements.
• Strong client-facing communication and ability to work across delivery and managed services teams.
