The Senior Educational Technology Support Technician is responsible as team-lead for the education technology support team and oversees the implementation of innovative instructional materials and courses for both online and in-person learning environments. They assist and support instructors and staff across campuses, ensuring courses are prepared and maintained throughout the term, providing training on e-learning tools, including the LMS, and overseeing reporting.
This role involves supporting distance education projects, managing course content preparation, designing instructional materials, implementing educational technologies, conducting needs assessments, troubleshooting LMS issues, communicating updates, creating training materials, preparing reports, testing new products, and evaluating course content. Additionally, they will provide training and support to faculty, ensuring all instructional materials are accessible and developing assessments to measure student learning.
