Marketplace Data Analyst

Serve as the “data investigator” for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM or Marketplace). This role involves pulling, querying, and analyzing Marketplace data, including Agent/Broker data, to address operational, compliance, and fraud-related questions. The analyst will transform findings into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences. The role requires accessing and integrating data from multiple Marketplace systems, detecting patterns and anomalies, and collaborating with the Marketplace Agent Broker Analyst to investigate potential fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA). Collaboration with policy, compliance, and technical teams is essential to ensure data-driven recommendations lead to improved operations, risk mitigation, and enhanced consumer and broker experiences.
