Senior Manager, Stablecoin Operations

As the Senior Manager, Stablecoin Operations, you will be at the heart of Bitso's mission to revolutionize finance in Latin America through cutting-edge cryptocurrency solutions. In this pivotal role, you will drive the operational excellence of our stablecoin ecosystem, managing critical processes from minting and redemption of the stablecoins we issue to fiat operations with key banking partners. You'll leverage innovative technologies like Fireblocks, along with our own infrastructure, to ensure secure, efficient, and scalable operations. Strategic Leadership and Execution: Ensure the successful execution of stablecoin operational initiatives, aligning with the broader Custody Division's strategic goals and objectives. Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce risk, and support scalability. Operational Management: Oversee the daily operational activities of stablecoin minting and redemption processes, ensuring accuracy, security, and efficiency. Coordinate and execute fiat transfers with banking partners, including reserve management and reconciliation. Manage and configure Fireblocks for secure and efficient stablecoin operations, including enforcing and maintaining governance rules and policies. Risk Management and Compliance: Oversee and ensure the implementation of advanced risk management and compliance strategies, ensuring all operations adhere to relevant regulatory requirements and maintain the highest standards of security and alignment with the Custody Division's risk framework. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate and manage relationships with internal Custody teams, Legal, and Compliance, external banking partners, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of stablecoin operations, optimize cross-functional processes, and enhance communication. Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team member, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
