Data Engineer Consultant

DAS42 is looking for a strategic and technically proficient Data Engineer Consultant to help clients unlock the full value of their data. In this role, you will design and implement scalable data solutions, from data models and ETL pipelines to cloud data warehouses and BI tools. You will advise clients across industries on how to optimize their data environments, translate business objectives into technical strategies, and support long-term data infrastructure. Responsibilities include guiding clients on optimizing their data environment, developing system engineering and integrations, implementing data warehouse solutions, and developing data models around stated use cases. You will also teach technical data modeling concepts and support clients’ data environments. To succeed, you will need 3 to 4 years of experience in a data analytics or data engineering role, experience with AWS or Google Cloud, business visualization tools, data warehousing, and proficiency with a scripting language (e.g., Python, R) and SQL.
