Job Description
Dewberry Engineers Inc. invites applications for a full-time, Senior Architectural Historian position within our national cultural resources practice group. The qualified candidate must meet the Secretary of the Interior’s (SOI) standards for Architectural History and demonstrate at least 15 years of professional experience conducting historic architectural surveys. Responsibilities include establishing Area of Potential Effects (APE), completing Section 106 consultations, and drafting agreement documents. The candidate will also serve as Principal Investigator, evaluate resources for NRHP eligibility, prepare technical reports, and document historic properties in accordance with HABS/HAER/HALS standards. Solid knowledge of historic structures and the ability to justify National Register eligibility is essential.
