Senior Data Platform Engineer

Build and operate a cutting-edge, near-real-time data platform that synchronizes data across enterprise systems. You'll design and deploy real-time data pipelines using Kafka Connect and Debezium CDC to stream changes from operational databases to Snowflake. Develop CI/CD pipelines to automate data pipeline deployments and build ETL/ELT processes for both batch and streaming scenarios. You will also deploy and manage data infrastructure on Kubernetes clusters, monitoring connector health and troubleshooting issues in production environments. Build and optimize Snowflake data models, design dimensional models, and implement data governance and cataloging using DataHub. This role requires collaboration with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders, documenting data flows and participating in architecture discussions. You'll be working with a modern tech stack including Kafka, Kubernetes, Snowflake, and DataHub, enabling real-time insights for a major financial services company.
