Security Engineer, AI Focus

Monarch is seeking a Security Engineer with a focus on AI to join their Security Engineering team. The role involves supporting core security operations and specialized AI security initiatives, reporting to the Head of Software Infrastructure. The security engineer will protect Monarch’s applications, infrastructure, and data through continuous monitoring, incident response, and risk management. They will also lead efforts to secure agentic AI systems and integrations, acting as the AI security subject matter expert (SME). Responsibilities include designing and implementing security controls for AI/ML environments, strengthening detection and response capabilities, and ensuring alignment with Monarch’s AI security standards. This role is critical in maintaining the security and integrity of Monarch’s technology ecosystem as they scale rapidly and adopt emerging AI technologies.
