Job Description
This position will support the execution of reimbursement strategy to create a favorable reimbursement climate for Calyxo products. The Manager will regularly interact directly with key sales management personnel and will be an expert on coding, coverage, and payment as they relate to Calyxo and competitive products. The position provides support to internal and external customers to assure appropriate reimbursement and eliminate reimbursement barriers. Integral to the position is assisting in the implementation of reimbursement strategy and tactics to support the Calyxo sales force.
Key responsibilities include payor, provider, and sales education to reduce and eliminate coverage and payment obstacles. Other responsibilities include building professional relationships with all levels of healthcare policy decision makers, key opinion leaders, and Calyxo customers. The position involves 10-20% travel for payor initiatives, customer support, sales support, and educational programs.
