Contract SDET Engineer – Playwright & API Automation

About the Role:

• We are seeking an experienced Contract SDET to join our Quality Engineering team for a high-impact automation initiative.
• This is a hands-on role focused on expanding UI and API automation coverage across modern web applications and distributed services.
• You should be comfortable contributing immediately within an established automation framework while leveraging AI-assisted development tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain UI automation with Playwright and TypeScript, following the Page Object Model and reusable framework patterns.
• Create API automation using Python and pytest for REST, GraphQL, and SOAP validation, including Postman/Newman collections.
• Integrate test suites into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, maintain smoke and regression execution, and use WireMock for service virtualization.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Software Test Automation as an SDET or Automation Engineer.
• Strong experience with Playwright, TypeScript, Python, and pytest for UI and API automation.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD integration, WireMock, and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
