Data & AI Engineer II

Role Overview:

• This role focuses on building scalable analytical applications and AI capabilities for transplant patient data.
• The engineer collaborates with data scientists, clinicians, and product teams to productionize research workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own implementation, testing, and deployment of application features and data pipelines.
• Translate R-based research workflows into maintainable Python code and integrate with databases and APIs.
• Build interactive applications for data exploration, visualization, and decision support using Streamlit and Dash.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong Python skills and experience with statistical analysis, machine learning, and LLM capabilities like RAG.
• Experience with version control, automated testing, and production considerations for AI systems.
