Job Description
The Data Governance Manager is a crucial role for Lantern as this person will assist in shaping the strategic direction and execution of the organization’s data initiatives. This person will lead efforts to establish and maintain robust data governance frameworks, consult and assist in the management of data products, and act as change agent to maximize the value of our data assets. In this role, you will collaborate with various teams and functions across the enterprise as well as external stakeholders to drive operational excellence and maturation of data operations.
Responsibilities include collaborating with business partners to identify and solve business problems, leading meetings, leveraging analysis skills to discern and communicate insights, and designing and implementing data governance structures. The manager will also ideate improvements to data governance policies and drive adoption, measure the efficacy of data governance programs, and stay abreast of relevant developments in science, technology, and business.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), 7+ years in a leadership role, 5+ years of experience in data management and governance, 5+ years of data engineering or analysis experience, 3+ years of management experience, and 2+ years of experience with Azure and data warehousing. Experience in the healthcare space is preferred.
