Senior Backend Software Engineer

Goodwin is looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to help build the world’s premier charter technology solutions. As a senior backend engineer, you will report directly to the VP of Engineering. You will design RESTful APIs for our Private Jet Charter Broker/Operator solutions and be the subject matter expert in maintaining and scaling AWS infrastructure. You will also design and implement database schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity. You will develop, test, and maintain server-side applications using programming languages such as Node.js. Develop automated tests to ensure business needs are met and allow for regression testing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute to the design and architecture of backend systems. Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Mentor and coach junior back-end developers as needed.
