Job Overview:
- Abstracts patient information from medical records and codes it into a database.
- Maintains record keeping systems for clinical studies, ensuring accuracy.
- Works in a clean office environment, with potential exposure to communicable diseases requiring safety precautions.
Qualifications:
- Requires an Associate’s degree; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Requires completion of Medical Terminology and Anatomy and Physiology courses.
- Must have or be eligible for Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) certification.

- Responsible for dedicating oneself to providing the highest quality healthcare services.
- Responsible for maintaining and editing data for accuracy and completeness.
