Senior Application Security Engineer

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct hands-on application security testing, code reviews, and threat modeling sessions for new features.
• Develop and automate security tooling and detection capabilities to integrate security into the SDLC.

Technical Collaboration:

• Work cross-functionally with product engineering, platform, data, and TechOps teams to drive vulnerability remediation.
• Act as a technical authority, explaining security issues clearly and building security practices as the company scales.

Security Program Development:

• Help secure Prolific's applications end-to-end, from penetration testing to improving detection coverage.
• Focus on modern attack paths like auth flaws, SSRF, injection, and business logic abuse within complex, large-scale systems.
