Associate Editorial Director, Axios Live (Temporary)

Axios is seeking an Associate Editorial Director to join their award-winning events team, Axios Live. The Associate Editorial Director will play a critical role in producing newsworthy events content. This role has multiple responsibilities, including overseeing creation of and writing event language and recap articles as assigned, building attendee lists for editorial roundtables across a variety of topics, prepping moderators for interviews, serving as an editorial producer onsite for events, live tweeting, and creating post event content newsy segments as assigned. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of journalism experience and have excellent writing and research skills. Must be familiar with the Axios Smart Brevity writing style and communication and can perform in high-pressure situations and meet deadlines.
