Job Description
Essential Functions:
- Modify and/or adapt the K12 curriculum in alignment with the state’s content standards to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to meet the goals of the targeted students through individualized and small group sessions.
- Educate parents on various instructional strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the implementation of the RTI instructional system to increase student achievement
- Oversee data collection and progress monitoring at every tier
- Use data to help teachers plan whole and small group instruction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree AND Active state teaching license
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers to interpret and produce numeric, tabular, and graphic representations of student data, and use it to drive instructional decisions.
- Ability to maintain teacher certification/professional development hours and fluency in K12 systems, programs and curriculum.
