Job Responsibilities:
- Track data on number of referrals.
- Coordinate and maintain statistical data on number of calls.
- Document information and refer patients to internal/external services.
Customer Service:
- Responds promptly to intake requests.
- Maintain professional relationship with referral sources and managed care contacts.
- Authorize outpatient care and collect specific benefit information.
External Evaluation:
- Triage and evaluate referrals.
- Assess for appropriateness and/or determine options within or outside of CCHMC.
- Advocates for the needs of the child and adolescent patient and family within the hospital and the community.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
