Job Responsibilities:

  • Track data on number of referrals.
  • Coordinate and maintain statistical data on number of calls.
  • Document information and refer patients to internal/external services.

Customer Service:

  • Responds promptly to intake requests.
  • Maintain professional relationship with referral sources and managed care contacts.
  • Authorize outpatient care and collect specific benefit information.

External Evaluation:

  • Triage and evaluate referrals.
  • Assess for appropriateness and/or determine options within or outside of CCHMC.
  • Advocates for the needs of the child and adolescent patient and family within the hospital and the community.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
