This position is responsible for the accurate coding of either inpatient coding or outpatient coding, performing all tasks following the Operating Principles of Baystate Health; reviewing medical record documentation for the accurate assignment of ICD-10-CM and CPT codes; and ensuring the quality and integrity of coding. Meets departmental policy on productivity and quality.

The Science and Medicine Advisor provides direction and guidance to physicians, scientists, and allied health professional volunteers. They work with science volunteers to produce Scientific Statements, Clinical Practice Guidelines, educational programs, and responses to advocacy. The SMA serves as the in-house expert and resource to other Association staff developing programs and projects.

Provide telephone-based clinical genetic counseling for individuals receiving genomic screening results through the NIH All of Us Research Program. The Clinical Specialist proctors cases to excellence and independently covers CVAC procedures, training the surgical team on the safe and effective uses of the device. We are looking for an experienced Clinical Research Associate, willing to work within the field of oncology. The Senior Clinical Research Associate will Perform site qualification, site initiation, and closeout visits, ensuring regulatory and protocol compliance. Visits may be on-site or remote.

Provides medical/clinical guidance to complaint investigators and engineers related to event interpretation, event investigation, proper coding, required regulatory reporting (Medical Device Reports, Medical Device Vigilance, etc.), and complaint closure. May assist with and help manage Imaging Reviews. Educates complaint investigators to understand nature of events and possible health risks. Interprets complaint data for complaint investigators, engineers, and other Quality department personnel.
