Overview:
- Gain hands-on experience supporting applied research that directly benefits communities across Utah.
- Contribute to projects that address current challenges while building skills in areas such as data collection, analysis, or research communication.
- Interns are welcomed as contributing members of the team and are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, and grow professionally.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Dr. McCann to select and interview individuals throughout Utah.
- Design a monthly social media report, cross comparing with beginning statistics/baseline, to practice tracking and communicating impacts.
- Work with Alisha Wilkins and additional staff in USU Extension Marketing to receive professional development around best practices and lessons learned.
Qualifications:
- Be dependable.
- Pursuing an undergraduate or M.S. degree in Marketing, Environmental Studies, Art, Sociology, or related degree.
- Proficiency with a range of social media platforms, including training and experience in creating engaging posts for large followings on social media.
