Forensic Electrical Engineer (PE License Required)

Investigate the root cause of failures, damages, or defects in electrical systems and components within industrial, commercial, and residential properties. You will analyze the failure of electrical systems, determine the causes of failures, evaluate the quality of construction, and meticulously review design and maintenance procedures. The Forensic Electrical Engineer will perform detailed field investigations, expertly lead multi-party examinations, and provide comprehensive documentation of damaged property. You will research failure modes and code requirements, and provide well-reasoned recommendations for repair and/or replacement when needed. You will also prepare accurate, clear, thorough, and concise reports and related documentation for clients, meticulously detailing your opinions and conclusions. They will participate on multidisciplinary teams on large and complex assignments and maintain established relationships with current clients and consultants.
