Operations Engineer I

The Operations Engineer I role builds, tests, and implements data and technical solutions with a focus on creating efficiency and scale through technology and automation of Oscar’s infrastructure and underlying logic for core insurance functions. You will report to the Manager, Operations Engineering. Owns the development to production lifecycle of well-defined tasks to enable operational efficiencies, improve quality, and/or contribute to Oscar’s regulatory or strategic needs. Develops technical solutions in response to requirements from business stakeholders regarding new product and market expansions, automated workflows, new/improved tooling, and data quality/integrity needs. Partners closely with other departments to structure and operationalize the next generation of health insurance operations.
