Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily workloads and priorities across the medical billing team
- Monitor billing productivity, accuracy, claim submission, and turnaround-time metrics
- Support team members with complex billing issues, payer requirements, and claim corrections
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle management
- Experience providing guidance, mentoring, or day-to-day leadership to billing staff
- Strong knowledge of healthcare billing, claim submission, payer requirements, and reimbursement processes
Nice to Have:
- CPB, CPC, or other relevant healthcare revenue cycle certification
- Experience with Epic, Athena, eClinicalWorks, or another major billing or practice management system
- Denials, appeals, payment posting, or AR follow-up experience
