Senior Data Engineer

What You'll Do:

• Own end-to-end design, delivery, and operation of major data products including high-throughput ETL pipelines and storage solutions.
• Partner with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to define pragmatic solutions and drive projects from design through production launch.
• Mentor engineers, lead technical strategy, and participate in on-call rotation for production systems.

About You:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, distributed systems, or related field, with a track record of delivering production data products.
• Deep experience building cloud-based data platforms, preferably AWS and Snowflake, and expertise in Python, SQL, and dbt.
• Experience with distributed processing (Spark, Flink, Kafka) and data governance practices.

Location and Compensation:

• This is a remote position requiring candidates to reside in Canada.
• Base salary determined by location and skills; total compensation may include discretionary performance bonus and equity.
