About the Role:
- The Senior Staff Software Engineer will provide durable technical leadership for the embedded cameras ecosystem.
- This role owns vertical development from device-level software to streaming and analytics, operating within a JDM model.
Responsibilities:
- Own system-wide architecture for embedded camera platforms, ensuring designs hold up over multi-year horizons.
- Govern edge device software, on-camera encoding, storage, streaming, and retrieval infrastructure.
- Serve as the technical authority in JDM relationships and mentor engineers to raise the technical floor.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven staff-level experience in embedded Linux, Yocto, and video processing pipelines.
- Experience architecting edge-based camera analytics and deploying resource-efficient computer vision models.
- Recognized technical authority who shapes engineering culture and drives process improvements.
