Audit Methodology Engineer

About the Role:

• As an Audit Methodology Engineer, you will act as the bridge between audit methodology and our agentic platform to deliver accurate, contextual, and explainable methodology.
• You will operationalize methodology documentation and guidance within the platform, ensuring methodology and testing agents reflect professional standards and firm guidance.
• You will work closely with product, engineering, and AI teams to translate audit standards and professional judgment into reliable AI-powered workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define the structure and logic behind Fieldguide's out-of-the-box methodology content, translating audit standards into usable procedures.
• Collaborate with AI architects and engineers to translate professional standards into prompts, workflows, and guardrails for methodology agents.
• Support financial audit implementation teams with bespoke methodology builds, customization, and annual updates, ensuring quality control.

What We’re Looking For:

• CPA required with 5+ years of public accounting experience and strong expertise in AICPA GAAS, PCAOB, and audit methodology.
• Experience with audit technology, automation, or AI-enabled tools, and working knowledge of quality control standards.
• Ability to translate professional standards into structured workflows and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
