Security Engineer

This role is critical in safeguarding enterprise applications, cloud environments, and customer data. You will work closely with software engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to embed security across the software development lifecycle and cloud deployments. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Also, performing application security assessments, code reviews, and threat modeling to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigations. Partnering with engineering teams to integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps) and evaluating and implementing security tools for SAST, DAST, SCA, container security, and cloud posture management. Leading incident response efforts related to application or cloud-based threats. Collaborating with product and development teams to ensure secure design patterns and providing guidance and training to developers on secure coding standards and cloud security principles. Staying current with evolving threat landscapes, security research, and compliance requirements.
