Technical Writer – Aerospace Design Processes

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer with a strong background in Aerospace Design Processes and deep familiarity with key industry standards including AWS , ASTM , AMS , and ASME Y14.5-2009 . The ideal candidate will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to develop, revise, and maintain technical documentation that supports Aerospace product development, fabrication, and compliance. Key Responsibilities include developing and maintaining clear, accurate, and comprehensive technical documentation including design process manuals, manufacturing procedures, engineering specifications, technical reports and white papers. Also, interpreting and applying standards such as AWS for welding procedures and qualifications, ASTM for material testing and performance criteria, AMS for aerospace-grade materials and specifications and ASME Y14.5-2009 for geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). The individual will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather technical data and ensure documentation reflects current practices and regulatory requirements.
