Bioinformatics Engineer 1 (Temp - 6 months)

The Bioinformatics Engineer to join a team which is focused on delivering a wide range of custom analyses to support the needs of Biopharma customers. This team is responsible for generating immuno-oncology and ultrasensitive MRD/liquid biopsy custom reports based on the specifications provided by the customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the retrieval, processing, and formatting of the genomic data based on the provided specifications followed by rigorous quality control of the generated report. Responsibilities include working with existing frameworks to execute custom report generation, within a team scrum context to ensure timely delivery across multiple concurrent projects. This also include performing detailed QC of the generated reports to ensure all of the content meets the customers' specifications prior to delivery. Using established QC tools for systematically testing the accuracy of generated custom reports to detect hidden errors and irregularities in the data, collaborating with and providing feedback to the Custom Data Report (CDR) team to drive continuous improvement.
