Compensation:
- $35.00 per hour as a 1099 independent contractor.
- Two-hour minimum per on-site assignment.
- Consistent assignment volume as the program ramps.
Requirements:
- Recent ITP graduates, RID Knowledge Exam passers, EIPA holders, or ASL/English proficiency through CLFC's assessment.
- Deaf community involvement and prior interpreting experience preferred.
- For video remote: reliable high-speed internet, HD webcam, headset, and private workspace.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate, impartial ASL interpretation for vocational rehabilitation counseling, assessments, training, and employment.
- Deliver services on-site or through video remote interpreting.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to the RID or BEI Code of Ethics.
