QA Automation Engineer

About the role:

• This is an automation-first role where you'll own and extend automated test coverage for a business-critical platform used in restaurant operations.
• You will work within an established automation framework, help maintain healthy regression pipelines, improve test reliability, and partner closely with engineers.

Experience we're looking for:

• 4+ years of hands-on QA Automation, SDET, or Quality Engineering experience with strong Java programming skills.
• Experience building UI automation frameworks using Appium, Selenium, Playwright, and testing REST APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Maven, Git, and Agile/Scrum environments.

Technology environment:

• Java, TestNG, Appium, Selenium, REST API Testing, Maven, Azure DevOps, Docker, Git.
• Modern AI-assisted engineering workflows and agentic development tools.

Bonus experience:

• Experience with restaurant technology, POS systems, or Kitchen Display Systems.
• Experience with Kotlin, desktop/Electron apps, Docker, or performance testing.
