Job Description
The Supervising Investigator will oversee a team responsible for auditing Department-registered course providers that deliver construction safety training, ensuring compliance with standards. Key duties involve managing investigations, conducting audits, and advising subordinates on investigative strategies. Tasks include performing case reviews, supervising fieldwork like surveillance and site visits, and verifying compliance with training regulations. The role also requires intake and review of complaints, use of databases for verification and research, writing detailed reports, testifying at hearings, and cooperating with investigative bodies. The investigator will issue summonses and Notices of Violation as needed. This role requires expertise in investigative techniques and a thorough understanding of regulatory compliance.
