You’ll work on video/audio-heavy backend systems and apply advanced AI tooling to support your engineering workflows. Ideal candidates are highly fluent in Go, thrive in asynchronous systems, and can build performant applications with parallel tasking. The ideal candidate is pragmatic, self-managed, and available to collaborate during US Pacific Time (PT) hours. Key responsibilities include building, optimizing, and scaling backend services in Golang using goroutines and worker pools, supporting WebAssembly compilation and browser-compatible runtimes, integrating OpenCV and FFmpeg pipelines for video processing and manipulation, and using AI tools like Cursor, Winsurf, and Gemini to enhance development workflows.
