Senior Developer

About the Role:

• We are seeking an experienced Senior AWS Developer to design, build, and maintain a secure, scalable cloud-based integration layer.
• This critical role enables real-time and event-driven data exchange across enterprise systems.
• You will work remotely and collaborate with internal teams and external system owners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement RESTful APIs using Amazon API Gateway and backend services like AWS Lambda and EC2.
• Build cloud-native data solutions with RDS and develop event-driven architectures using S3, SQS, and SNS.
• Implement security best practices including IAM, VPC, encryption, and logging, ensuring compliance with ATO requirements.

Required Skills:

• 15+ years of software development experience, with strong focus on AWS.
• Hands-on experience with API Gateway, Lambda, EC2, RDS, S3, SQS, SNS.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation or Terraform) and networking (VPCs, subnets, security groups).

Desired Skills:

• Experience implementing secure, compliant systems (ATO/FedRAMP preferred).
• Strong knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
