Job Description
This Country Support Manager (CSM), Global Diagnostics will support GDT’s market shaping activities across multiple disease and program areas (i.e. HIV, TB, MNCH), and across a portfolio of product categories (i.e. RDTs, molecular testing and sequencing) by driving forward the analytical work required to thoughtfully design and implement strategies to secure supply of critical essential diagnostics for LMICs at affordable conditions. The CSM will also play a critical role in building trust-based, productive relationships with both CHAI global and country teams to support GDT’s market access goals.
The CSM will support the collection and analysis of data from a variety of sources such as governments, manufacturers, procurers and technical agencies. The CSM will be responsible for developing rigorous market analyses (i.e. landscaping analysis, pricing analysis, demand forecasts) and then effectively distilling and communicating key strategic recommendations based on these analyses to support investment decisions by suppliers, country programs, donors, and other key stakeholders.
For this Manager position, they are seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial individual with outstanding analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities. The CSM must be comfortable synthesizing large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data into thoughtful recommendations and communicating those recommendations effectively to different audiences. The CSM must also be able to drive forward projects independently, balance multiple priorities simultaneously, and work effectively across a range of stakeholders.
