Senior Software Engineer, Security Partner

As a Software Engineer, Security Partner, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our internal and external partners to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data. You will be a trusted advisor, working closely with various teams to identify security risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive security features in products Reddit delivers. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and exceptional communication skills. Responsibilities include partnership management, security risk assessment & mitigation, security awareness & training, software engineering, and incident response. Qualifications include experience with Golang, a strong understanding of security principles, experience with threat modeling, and excellent communication skills. Ideal candidates will have a strong development foundation, clear communication, collaborative partnership skills, broad security expertise, program development experience, and be proactive and adaptable.
