Job Description
Beam is seeking a Claims Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing claims and determining coverage based on policy provisions and state regulations. The ideal candidate is adaptable, highly focused, and skilled at problem-solving. You should be comfortable working independently with limited supervision and able to approach each claim with a keen eye for detail. An investigative mindset, accuracy, and strong communication skills are essential in this position.
Responsibilities include reviewing claims thoroughly to determine coverage, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and aligned with policy provisions, processing received paper claims, handling claims dispositions, reviewing claims for rejection status, adding documentation for the Clinical Review team, supporting W9 processing, and assisting with UM support.
