Principal Power Systems Engineer – Grid Integration & Power Electronics

Technical Leadership & Grid Integration:

• Lead complex power systems, grid interconnection, transmission planning, and compliance studies.
• Establish methodologies, validate models, and perform RMS and EMT simulations.
• Address inverter-based resource challenges and deliver technical recommendations.

Client & Project Management:

• Present and defend findings to clients, utilities, and regulators.
• Manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure quality.

Team Development & Business Growth:

• Mentor engineers and support capability development.
• Contribute to proposals, scopes, and business development.
• Stay current on FERC, NERC, IEEE, and ISO/RTO requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 8+ years experience.
• Advanced proficiency in PSCAD/EMTDC, PSS/E, GE PSLF, or MATLAB/Simulink.
• Authorization to work in US or Canada; visa sponsorship available.
