Deportation Defense Contract Atty (Part time)

Dalal & Mehta Immigration Law Firm is seeking a Part-Time Case Manager to support our Deportation Defense Department. As our Part-Time Case Manager, you’ll collaborate with a full-time paralegal to manage and oversee a small but important caseload of deportation defense matters. Your legal experience will help ensure filings are accurate, timely, and prepared to the highest standard. You’ll supervise the paralegal’s weekly tasks and review her work before filing through ECAS or in paper. Monitor deadlines and court schedules, draft and assist with legal motions and arguments, and support trial preparation work, with no court appearances required. The department has approximately 85 active deportation cases, with majority of activity involving Master Calendar Hearings.
