Chamberlain University is seeking a collaborative and experienced academic leader to serve as Associate Dean – Online. This remote role supports the Program Dean in the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of our online nursing programs, with a focus on the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) track. Responsibilities include overseeing faculty teaching DNP practicum courses and addressing related student concerns. Collaboration across departments is needed to ensure effective practicum experiences and academic support. Monitoring and reporting on student success metrics is crucial (retention, graduation, certification pass rates, satisfaction). Ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards is a must. Supporting program operations includes curriculum management, course development, assessment, and delivery. Supervision of assistant deans, faculty managers, faculty, and staff will be needed. Participation in faculty recruitment, onboarding, evaluation, and mentoring is also required. This role also serves as acting Program Dean in their absence. Contributing to academic policy development and budget planning, and promoting a culture of academic excellence, professionalism, and collaboration is crucial.
