Role Responsibilities:
- Database Architecture: Own the data warehouse and reporting layer, setting patterns for data modeling and exposure.
- Analytics Engineering: Write SQL and dbt models to build tables and transformations for downstream teams.
Cross-Functional Partnership:
- Engage with teams across the company to understand data needs and guide solutions.
- Act as connective tissue between product engineering, architecture, analytics, and business stakeholders.
Platform and Operations:
- Partner on automating schema propagation and managing Python jobs on AWS for data ingestion.
- Build data quality models and observability processes, participating in a light on-call schedule.
