The Fraud Intelligence team is the secret sauce behind Extend’s post-purchase protection platform, building cutting-edge analytics engines to detect and prevent fraud. This role involves analyzing large-scale data to uncover fraud signals, influencing business cases and pricing strategies, and responding to emerging fraud threats. A high-ownership position where your work will directly protect retailers, enhance customer trust, and drive the company’s bottom line!

Serve as a core member of Security Operations, monitoring and triaging alerts from platforms such as SentinelOne and Wiz. Perform end-to-end investigations to identify, contain, and remediate threats and incidents, driving timely, appropriate response. Proactively identify and assess vulnerabilities in infrastructure and code, working with development and other cross functional teams to address issues.

The Vendor Manager, Service Network is responsible for the strategic oversight and operational management of our repair network. This role will contribute to key company objectives such as growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction, through the effective management of our service network quality, cycle times, and cost severity. Responsibilities include developing and expanding the service network, managing service provider relationships, conducting vendor negotiations, and implementing business development strategies.

Define, drive, and own the quality strategy across multiple product lines, balancing hands-on technical expertise with strategic thinking. Guide and support engineering teams in building robust test automation while acting as a key advisor on quality, process, and risk. Collaborate with engineering, product, and program management to champion a culture of quality and deliver exceptional software solutions.

Architect the next evolution of our purchasing APIs, ensuring they can handle Black Friday-level traffic spikes without breaking a sweat. You will partner with product and design to build the backend systems for intricate, multi-step purchasing journeys that feel simple and intuitive. You will also act as a technical compass for the engineering team and help design and implement event-driven workflows that can manage complex, long-running processes autonomously.

Focus on securing deals with largest potential retail/brand partners across core verticals. Drive meaningful, strategic revenue growth for a Series C company. Orchestrate internal and external teams to establish long-term relationships with our partners, manage complex engagements, and deliver customized, strategic solutions that create incremental value.

As a Machine Learning Data Scientist on Extend’s Risk & Fraud Machine Learning Team, you will develop and deploy cutting-edge machine learning models to detect and prevent fraud, enhance decision-making, and drive business value. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to build scalable, production-ready machine learning applications that support Extend’s post-purchase products.
